Laugardalslaug swimming pool
Largest public swimming pool in Reykjavik with a large outdoor area several hot tubs, a cold tubs and a steam bath.

Reykjavik’s botanical gardens
Close to both the hotel and swimming pool are Reykjavik’s botanical gardens - “Grasagarðurinn í Reykjavik”. Free entrance, more information on their Facebook page
Hallgrimskirkja church
Reykjavik’s most prominent building taking inspiration from the structure of Iceland’s basalt columns is a pleasure to visit for anyone who likes architecture, art, history or great views. It is possible to visit the bell tower for some of Reykjavik’s best views.
Reykjavik’s City Hall
The city hall “Ráðhús Reykjavíkur” was built into the Reykjavik pond in the early ‘90s. Besides being the workplace of Reykjavik’s administration and hosting occational exhibitions it holds a giant model of Iceland where you can get a good feeling for the island’s geography.
